Item 8.01
Other Events.

On August 13, 2008, the Board of Directors of ENB Financial Corp announced the approval of a plan to purchase, in open market and privately negotiated transactions, up to 140,000 shares of its outstanding common stock.

Shares purchased will be held as treasury shares to be utilized in connection with the Corporations Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP) and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).  Purchases of common stock will not occur until proper public notice is given including a waiting period after public release.

The August 14, 2008, press release announcing the buyback plan is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
