EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Amendment No. 2 to Form 8-A is being filed by ClearSign Technologies Corporation (the “Company”) for the sole purpose of updating the hyperlink for Exhibits 2.1, 3.1 and 3.2 furnished with the Company’s Form 8-A/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 11, 2023 (the “Amended Form 8-A”) to link the correct filings. The incorrect hyperlink for Exhibits 2.1, 3.1 and 3.2 were the result of an inadvertent administrative error. No other changes have been made to the Amended Form 8-A.
