Stock Options

On May 26, 2017, the Company issued 700,000 options to a consultant to purchase 700,000 shares of common stock of the Company at $0.001 per share. See Note 10(f). The options shall vest as follows: 450,000 options vest immediately upon issuance on May 26, 2017 and expire on July 7, 2017, 100,000 options shall vest on July 8, 2017 and expire on August 4, 2017, 100,000 options shall vest on August 5, 2017 and expire on September 1, 2017, 50,000 options shall vest on September 2, 2017 and expire on September 29, 2017, and 25,000 options shall vest on September 30, 2017 and expire on October 27, 2017.

Share-based compensation expense is determined using the Black-Scholes Option Pricing Model. During the six months ended June 30, 2017, the Company recognized share-based compensation expense of $361,829 in additional paid-in capital. The weighted average fair value of the options granted during the six months ended June 30, 2017, was $0.68. Weighted average assumptions used in calculating the fair value of stock-based compensation expense are as follows:
