A description of the shares of beneficial interest, no par value, of the IQ Hong Kong Small Cap ETF, a separate series of IndexIQ ETF Trust (the “Trust”), to be registered hereunder is set forth in Post-Effective Amendment No. 12 to the Trust’s Registration Statement under the Securities Act of 1933 and Amendment No. 14 to the Trust’s Registration Statement under the Investment Company Act of 1940 on Form N-1A (Commission File Nos. 333-152915; 811-22227) (the “Registration Statement”), which description is incorporated herein by reference as filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Trust’s investment portfolio to which this filing relates is the IQ Hong Kong Small Cap ETF and its Internal Revenue Service Employer Identification Numbers 45-1538253.
