8. Financial Instruments

Except for cash, the fair value of which equals its carrying value, the only significant financial instruments that the Company has are its investments in unconsolidated investees accounted for using the equity method (for which fair value disclosure is not required) and amounts due to and from members. There is no formal agreement between the Company and its members related to the amounts due to and from the members, including no stated right of offset, repayment terms, and interest rate or method. Accordingly, it is not practical to estimate the fair value of such financial instruments.
