Item 8.01. Other Events.

On April 17, 2025, Pacira BioSciences, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that its Board of Directors has approved a new share repurchase program, effective immediately, which authorizes the Company to purchase up to an aggregate of $300.0 million of the Company’s outstanding common stock, which replaces the Company’s previous share repurchase program announced on May 7, 2024. Repurchases under this program may be made at management’s discretion on the open market or through privately negotiated transactions. The share repurchase program may be suspended or discontinued at any time by the Company and has an expiration date of December 31, 2026.
