DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS	NOTE 1 - DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS The Company was incorporated under the laws of the State of Arizona on August 20, 1999 ("Inception Date") as Plae, Inc. to engage in the exploration of gold and silver mining properties The Company has a calendar year end for reporting purposes. The Company is in the process of acquiring mineral properties or claims located in the State of Arizona, USA. The recoverability of amounts from the properties or claims will be dependent upon the discovery of economically recoverable reserves, confirmation of the Company's interest in the underlying properties and/or claims, the ability of the Company to obtain necessary financing to satisfy the expenditure requirements under the property and/or claim agreements and to complete the development of the properties and/or claims, and upon future profitable production or proceeds for the sale thereof. The name was changed on February 18, 2005 to King Mines, Inc. and then subsequently changed to its current name on March 30, 2005. No shares of common stock were issued until the Company became United Mines, Inc. The Company's corporate office is located at 11924 N Centaurus PI, Oro Valley, AZ 85737.
