Item 8.01. Other Events.

On February 13, 2020, the Federal Reserve Board announced that the May 26, 2015 written agreement between the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Discover Financial Services (the “Company”) related to the Company’s enterprise-wide anti-money laundering and compliance programs has been terminated effective February 5, 2020.
