(b) On February 20, 2019, Mark A. Nordenberg notified The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (the “Corporation”) that he would not be standing for re-election to the Corporation’s Board of Directors at the upcoming Annual Meeting of Stockholders to be held on April 9, 2019.
