Business Transactions May 2022 Disposition In May 2022, we completed the sale of certain contract operations customer service agreements and approximately 380 compressors, comprising approximately 70,000 horsepower, used to provide compression services under those agreements, as well as other assets used to support the operations. We allocated customer-related and contract-based intangible assets based on a ratio of the horsepower sold relative to the total horsepower of the asset group. We received cash consideration of $55.5 million for the sale and recorded a gain on the sale of $16.7 million in gain on sale of assets, net in our condensed consolidated statements of operations during the three and six months ended June 30, 2022. February 2021 Disposition In February 2021, we completed the sale of certain contract operations customer service agreements and approximately 300 compressors, comprising approximately 40,000 horsepower, used to provide compression services under those agreements as well as other assets used to support the operations. We allocated customer-related and contract-based intangible assets based on a ratio of the horsepower sold relative to the total horsepower of the asset group. We recorded a gain on the sale of $6.0 million in gain on sale of assets, net in our condensed consolidated statements of operations during the six months ended June 30, 2021.
