cellcom israel announces affirmation of its rating in relation
to debentures traded in israel
 
Netanya, Israel – August 17, 2020 – Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE: CEL) (TASE: CEL) (hereinafter: the "Company") announced today that Standard & Poor’s Maalot, or Maalot, affirmed the Company’s rating at ilA and maintained the Company's rating outlook at “negative”, in relation to the Company's debentures traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
 
Among its main assumptions for the rating and outlook, Maalot noted: a significant decrease in revenues from roaming services as well as a decrease in revenues from the sale of end-user equipment, as a result of the Corona virus pandemic; the completion of the acquisition of Golan Telecom, or Golan, during the third quarter 2020; continued erosion in cellular segment revenues in light of the competition in the market; a decrease in the Company's revenues and EBITDA in 2020 and a certain increase in 2021, and a certain increase in the Company's revenues and EBITDA due to the acquisition of Golan.
