– Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE: CEL) (TASE: CEL) (hereinafter: the "Company") announced today that a purported class action was filed against the
Company and two other Israeli cellular operators, alleging that the defendants unlawfully charged their customers for content services provided by third party providers, in violation of their licenses and applicable law. The amount claimed from each
defendant, if the lawsuit is certified as a class action, was estimated by the plaintiff to be approximately NIS 400 million plus NIS 500 for alleged non monetary damages for each customer. At this preliminary stage, the Company is unable to assess
the lawsuit's chances of success.
