Income Taxes	INCOME TAXES The provision for income taxes and effective tax rates for the three and six months ended December 31, 2016 were $15.6 million and 34.1%, and $33.4 million and 34.4%, compared to $21.1 million and 34.4%, and $39.2 million and 34.7% for the three and six months ended December 31, 2015, respectively. The decrease in the effective tax rate for the three and six months ended December 31, 2016 compared to the comparable prior year period is primarily attributable to an increase in the percentage of lower taxed foreign earnings as a percentage of total earnings.
