Basis of Accounting [Text Block]	(1) Basis of Presentation The accompanying unaudited consolidated financial statements have been prepared in accordance with instructions for Form 10-Q and, therefore, do not include all disclosures necessary for a complete presentation of the financial statements in conformity with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America (GAAP). However, all adjustments that are, in the opinion of management, necessary for the fair presentation of the interim financial statements have been included. Such adjustments were of a normal recurring nature. The results of operations for the three month period ended June 30, 2011 are not necessarily indicative of the results that may be expected for the entire year or any other interim period. For additional information, refer to the consolidated financial statements and footnotes thereto of Delanco Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) included in the Company’s annual report on Form 10-K for the year ended March 31, 2011.
