On Wednesday, June 25, 2008, BioFuel Energy Corp. issued a press release announcing the start of commercial operations at its two 115 million gallons per year ethanol plants in Wood River, Nebraska and Fairmont, Minnesota. A copy of the Press Release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
