Income Tax Information
The following information is presented on an income tax basis. Differences between amounts for financial statement and federal income tax purposes are primarily due to the recognition of unrealized gain or loss for tax (mark-to-market) on equity option contracts, the treatment of paydown gains and losses, recognition of premium amortization, and timing differences in recognizing certain gains and losses on investment transactions.
At September 30, 2007, the cost of investments was $398,119,946.
