Organization and Business	1. Organization and Business Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the Company) is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing products for the treatment of central nervous system diseases, including neurological and psychiatric disorders. The Company has two proprietary products and several proprietary product candidates in clinical development that address the epilepsy and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder markets. The Company is currently focused on the commercialization of Oxtellar XR and the anticipated commercialization of Trokendi XR (formerly known as SPN-538). Oxtellar XR received final approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on October 19, 2012 and the Company began the commercial launch of this product on February 4, 2013. In addition, Trokendi XR received tentative approval from the FDA on June 25, 2012. The Company anticipates the commercial launch of this product in the third quarter of 2013 pending receipt of final approval from the FDA.
