ITEM 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On December 9, 2021, Mr. Dahe “Taylor” Zhang informed the Board of Directors of China XD Plastics Company Limited (the “Company”) that he would resign from his position as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective immediately. Mr. Zhang’s decision to resign was not a result of any disagreement with the Company or its management.
