On December 30, 2019, Thomas L. James provided notice of his resignation as the Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of 22nd Century Group, Inc. (the “Company”), effective in 30 days, for personal and family reasons. Mr. James’s resignation is not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
