Prepaid expenses and other current assets As of June 30, 2014, prepaid expenses and other current assets was $1,706, consisting of $399 of prepaid insurance, $1,298 of research and development (“R&D”) clinical costs and $9 of other costs. As of December 31, 2013, prepaid expenses and other current assets was $2,140, consisting of $1,833 of IPO costs, $262 of R&D clinical costs, $34 of prepaid insurance and $11 of other costs.
