Nature of Business	1. NATURE OF BUSINESS Aldeyra Therapeutics, Inc. (Aldeyra, Company, we, us and our) was incorporated in the state of Delaware on August 13, 2004 as Neuron Systems, Inc. On December 20, 2012, the Company changed its name to Aldexa Therapeutics, Inc. and, on March 17, 2014, the Company changed its name to Aldeyra Therapeutics, Inc. Aldeyra, together with its wholly-owned subsidiaries, is developing and commercializing next-generation medicines to improve the lives of patients with immune-mediated diseases. The Company’s principal activities to date include raising capital and research and development activities
