INVESTMENT IN ASSOCIATE	NOTE 8 – INVESTMENT IN ASSOCIATE On April 23, 2018, the Company participated in the incorporation of a company in Indonesia, PT Weyland Indonesia Perkasa (“WIP’), an Indonesian limited liability company of which the Company held a 49% equity interest with the option to purchase an additional 31% equity interest at a later date. In April 2019, the Company completed the distribution as a dividend in specie, to the Company’s shareholders of record at October 12, 2018 of 49% equity interest in WIP to Weyland AtoZPay Inc. and now holds an equitable interest of 31% in WIP. The results of operations under brand name PAY/GOLogiq of WIP from April 23, 2018 to September 30, 2020 has not been included as the amount had been fully impaired. The Company held an 31% unexercised option in WIP as at December 31, 2018. Due to the continuing legal restructuring in Indonesia, all the conditions precedent had not been satisfied and the 31% option had not been exercised as December 31, 2021. The Company is in the process of increasing its equity interest in WIP to 51% in order to consolidate the financial results of WIP on a going-forward basis.

NOTE 8 – INVESTMENT IN ASSOCIATE
