Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On November 13, 2006, NewPage Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NewPage Holding Corporation, issued a news release announcing results for the quarter ended September 30, 2006. A copy of the news release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

The information is being furnished under Item 2.02 “Results of Operations and Financial Condition” of Form 8-K.
