Item7.01Regulation FD Disclosure.

 

On April 1, 2019, Orchids Paper Products Company (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company and certain of its subsidiaries (collectively, the “Debtors”) filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of Title 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code with the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the “Bankruptcy Filing”). During the pendency of the Bankruptcy Filing, the Debtors intend to operate their businesses as “debtors-in-possession” under the jurisdiction of the bankruptcy court and in accordance with the applicable provisions of the bankruptcy code and intend to conduct business operations in the normal course.

 

The Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
