Pension and Postretirement Benefit Plans
As a result of the adoption of ASU 2017-07, the Company’s service cost component of net benefit cost is included in “Operating income” and all other components of net benefit cost are included in “Other non-operating (income) expense, net” within the Company’s unaudited Condensed Consolidated Statements of Operations. Following are the components of net benefit cost recognized by the Company for the three months ended March 31, 2018 and 2017:
