Segment Reporting, Policy [Policy Text Block]	The DSW segment, which includes DSW stores and dsw.com, is our only reportable segment. Our other operating segments, ABG and Ebuys, are below the quantitative and qualitative thresholds for reportable segments and are aggregated into Other for segment reporting purposes. ABG was previously shown as a separate reportable segment that has now been included in Other due to us no longer providing services to Gordmans after fiscal 2017. Prior periods presented have been restated to include ABG in Other for comparative purposes.
