ITEM 8.01 Other Events.

     On April 21, 2008, DSW Inc. “soft launched” its new e-commerce website, DSW.com. DSW.com is being rolled out through a launch methodology that will continue in the following weeks, during which time DSW will gradually increase its marketing of the site and refine its capabilities to ensure the best possible customer shopping experience. Once this phase is complete, DSW will formally launch its DSW.com e-commerce site.
