Amounts due from insurance companies. We periodically file claims for recovery of environmental remediation costs and property claims with our insurance carriers under our comprehensive liability policies. We recognize our insurance recoveries in the period that we assess the likelihood of recovery as being probable. At both June 30, 2020 and December 31, 2019, we have recognized amounts due from insurance companies of approximately $1.1 million representing our best estimate of our probable insurance recoveries. During the six months ended June 30, 2020, we received reimbursements from insurance companies of approximately $0.1 million. During the six months ended June 30, 2020, we increased our estimate of probable future insurance recoveries by approximately $0.1 million.
