Cole Credit Property Trust II, Inc. announces the acquisition of a property located in Georgia, leased to Academy Sports

On January 6, 2006, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the operating partnership of Cole Credit Property Trust II, Inc. acquired an approximately 74,532 square foot single-tenant retail building on an approximately 7.3 acre site located in Macon, Georgia, which is 100% leased to Academy Ltd., through the initial lease term, which expires on January 31, 2026.

Academy is a sporting goods retailer, operating over 80 stores across the southeastern United States.
