Note 2.  Accounting Standard Changes

In May 2014, the Financial Accounting Standards Board issued Accounting Standards Update No. 2014-09 (“ASU 2014-09”), Revenue from Contracts with Customers (“ASC Topic 606”). ASU 2014-09 supersedes the revenue recognition guidance in ASC Topic 605, Revenue Recognition. The core principle of the guidance in ASU 2014-09 is that an entity should recognize revenue to depict the transfer of promised goods and services to customers in an amount that reflects the consideration to which the entity expects to be entitled in the exchange for those goods or services. ASU 2014-09 is effective for annual reporting periods beginning after December 15, 2016; however, in April 2015, the FASB proposed a one year deferral of the effective date. The Company is still evaluating the impact of adopting ASU 2014-09, but the adoption of ASU 2014-09 is not expected to have a material impact on the Company’s consolidated financial position, results of operations or cash flows.

As of March 31, 2015, no other amendments to the ASC had been issued that will have or are reasonably likely to have a material effect on the Company’s financial position, results of operations or cash flows.
