Investment in Bank Owned Life Insurance	Note 6. Investment in Bank Owned Life Insurance The Bank is owner and designated beneficiary on life insurance policies in the aggregate face amount of $21,583,000 covering certain of its directors and executive officers. The earnings from these policies are used to offset expenses related to retirement plans. The cash surrender value of these policies at December 31, 2021 and 2020 was approximately $12,494,000 and $7,806,000, respectively.

The entire disclosure for corporate (COLI) or bank (BOLI) owned life insurance including the amount of cash surrender value that could be received as of the date of the statement of financial position, any restrictions on the company's ability to obtain the value of the life insurance policy on surrender, or any other additional information desired to be disclosed.
