The denominator used in calculating diluted earnings per share for common stock for the first quarter of 2017 does not include 69,010 options to purchase common stock as the effect of including these options would have been anti-dilutive. The denominator used in calculating diluted earnings per share for the first quarter of 2017 did not include 142,009 restricted performance shares, as the performance targets for these awards had not yet been met.
