Depreciation and amortization expense of property, equipment and facilities was $8.4 million, $8.7 million and $11.0 million for the years ended December 31, 2018, 2017 and 2016, respectively.

As discussed in Note 1, the Company sold its property in Mangonia Park Palm Beach County, Florida and associated assets.
