Note 1.     Business of Wilshire Bancorp, Inc.

Wilshire Bancorp, Inc. (hereafter, “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a bank holding company offering a broad range of financial products and services primarily through our main subsidiary, Wilshire Bank, a California state-chartered commercial bank, which we sometimes refer to in this report as “the Bank.” Our corporate headquarters and primary banking facilities are located at 3200 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90010.  The Bank has 35 full-service branch offices in Southern California, Texas, New Jersey, and the greater New York City metropolitan area.  We also have 7 loan production offices, or “LPOs”, utilized primarily for the origination of loans under our Small Business Administration, or “SBA”, lending program in California, Colorado, Georgia, Texas, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia.
