Organization And Nature Of Operations	1. Organization and Nature of Operations Triangle Petroleum Corporation ("Triangle," "we," "us," "our," or the "Company") is an exploration and development company currently focused on the acquisition and development of unconventional shale oil resources in the Bakken Shale and Three Forks formations in the Williston Basin of North Dakota and Montana. Triangle has identified an area of focus in the Bakken Shale and Three Forks formations. The Company also owns acreage in the Maritimes Basin of Nova Scotia, which contains numerous conventional and unconventional prospective reservoirs, including the Windsor Group sandstones and limestones and Horton Group shales.
