On November 6, 2023, MarketAxess Holdings Inc. (the “Company”) was informed by Christopher N. Gerosa, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, that he will resign from such position effective January 31, 2024, to accept a position with another company. Mr. Gerosa’s departure was not because of any disagreement with the Company’s independent auditors or the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices, including accounting principles and practices. The Company intends to conduct a search to appoint a new Chief Financial Officer.

On November 9, 2023, the Company issued a press release announcing Mr. Gerosa’s resignation, which is attached hereto as exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference into this Item 7.01.
