Item 5.08. Shareholder Director Nominations.

The Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) has set May 28, 2020 as the date for the Company’s 2020 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the “Annual Meeting”).

Proposals of stockholders intended to be presented at the Annual Meeting pursuant to Rule 14a-8 promulgated under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, must be received by the Company at its principal executive offices, One Broadway, 14th Floor, Cambridge, Massachusetts 02142, no later than March 10, 2020 in order to be included in the proxy statement and proxy card relating to that meeting.
