Subsequent Events	8. Subsequent Events The Company and Purchaser entered into the Option Agreement dated January 23, 2023 (see Note 1 for further details), pursuant to which the Company granted to Purchaser an exclusive option during a fixed period of time to negotiate a definitive asset purchase agreement to acquire one of the Company's preclinical programs. In January 2023, the Company received payment of the Option fee from the Purchaser.

The entire disclosure for significant events or transactions that occurred after the balance sheet date through the date the financial statements were issued or the date the financial statements were available to be issued. Examples include: the sale of a capital stock issue, purchase of a business, settlement of litigation, catastrophic loss, significant foreign exchange rate changes, loans to insiders or affiliates, and transactions not in the ordinary course of business.
