Item 5.02

Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On January 15, 2021, Kamila Chytil, Chief Operating Officer of MoneyGram International, Inc. (the “Company” or “MoneyGram”), notified the Company that she would be resigning from her role on or around March 19, 2021 in order to accept a senior executive position with another company in an unrelated industry. Ms. Chytil plans to continue in her current role until that time and assist in an orderly transition of her responsibilities. MoneyGram is grateful to Ms. Chytil for her many contributions over the years related to the digitization and improved operating capabilities of the Company.

The Company has initiated a search for Ms. Chytil’s successor, which will include her participation.
