Quanta Announces Board of Directors Appointment

HAMILTON, Bermuda—April 11, 2007—Quanta Capital Holdings Ltd. (NASDAQ: QNTA) announced today that it appointed John C. McKenna as a director.

Mr. McKenna currently serves as a director and independent consultant with Finance & Risk Services Limited, a Bermuda-based reinsurance and restructuring consulting firm. Mr. McKenna has twenty-one years of experience in the insurance industry, including thirteen years as a Partner and leader of the insolvency and restructuring practice at Ernst & Young in Bermuda. In addition to his extensive experience in reinsurance and restructuring, he is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Arbitrator.

James J. Ritchie, the Company’s Chairman commented ‘‘We are pleased to add John to our Board. With his extensive and specialized knowledge of the Bermuda marketplace, we look forward to his future contributions. On behalf of the Board, we welcome John to the company.’’
