COMMITMENTS AND CONTINGENCIES	COMMITMENTS AND CONTINGENCIES Contingencies We are not currently a party to any material legal proceedings and have not recorded any accruals for loss contingencies. NuStar Energy is a party to claims and legal proceedings arising in the ordinary course of its business, which it believes are not material to its financial position or results of operations. However, due to the inherent uncertainty of litigation, there can be no assurance that the resolution of any particular claim or proceeding would not have a material adverse effect on NuStar Energy’s results of operations and ability to pay distributions, which would impact our ability to pay distributions. Commitments As of December 31, 2013, we had no future minimum payments applicable to non-cancellable operating leases and purchase obligations.
