Schedule of deferred tax assets and liabilities
Deferred income taxes are provided for the tax effect of temporary differences between the financial reporting basis and the tax basis of assets and liabilities. As of December 31, 2015 the Company adopted Accounting Standards Update ("ASU") No. 2015-17, "Balance Sheet Classification of Deferred Taxes" on a prospective basis, which required that deferred tax assets and liabilities be classified as noncurrent in a classified statement of financial position. Accordingly, net deferred tax assets as of December 31, 2015 have been classified as non-current and as of December 31, 2014 were classified in other current assets and other assets in the accompanying Consolidated Balance Sheets.
