The Company determines the fair value of commodity derivative instruments by obtaining fair value measurements from an independent pricing service. The fair value measurements consider observable data that may include dealer quotes and live trading levels from the Chicago Board of Trade market and New York Mercantile Exchange.  We determine the fair value of corn Level 2 instruments by model-based techniques in which all significant inputs are observable in the markets noted above.
