17.      SEGMENT INFORMATION

 

The Company’s reportable segments are as follows: carbonless papers, thermal papers and Encapsys®. Management evaluates the performance of the segments based primarily on operating income (loss). Items excluded from the determination of segment operating income (loss) are unallocated corporate charges, interest expense and foreign exchange loss. The Company does not allocate total assets internally in assessing operating performance and does not track capital expenditures by segment.
