12. SUBSEQUENT EVENTS

We have evaluated subsequent events through August 11, 2011 (the date the financial statements were issued).

As of July 25, 2011, all of the conditions to the Agreement discussed under “Mediacom Communications Shareholders Litigation” in Note 10 had been satisfied. A settlement payment of $10.3 million was subsequently made, of which we funded $5.7 million through a capital distribution to MCC, with the remainder funded by Mediacom LLC.

On August 8, 2011, all claims under the purported class action Jim Knight v. Mediacom Communications Corp. were dismissed with prejudice and the case was closed. See “Jim Knight v. Mediacom Communications Corp.” in Note 10.
