(the “Company”) was incorporated in Delaware on May 31, 2000, under its original name, Hosting Site Network, Inc. On May 12, 2008, the Company changed its name to Single Touch Systems Inc. The Company offers its patented technologies via a modular, adaptable platform and a multi-channel messaging gateway to its customers, enabling them to reach consumers on all types of connected devices. Basis of Presentation The accompanying unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements contain all adjustments (consisting only of normal recurring adjustments) which, in the opinion of management, are necessary to present fairly the financial position of the Company as of June 30, 2013, and the results of its operations and cash flows for the three months and nine-months ended June 30, 2013 and 2012. Certain information and footnote disclosures normally included in financial statements have been condensed or omitted pursuant to rules and regulations of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the “Commission”). The Company believes that the disclosures in the unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements are adequate to make the information presented not misleading. However, the unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements included herein should be read in conjunction with the financial statements and notes thereto included in the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended September 30, 2012 filed with the Commission on January 2, 2013.

Single Touch Systems Inc. (the “Company”) was incorporated in Delaware on May 31, 2000, under its original name, Hosting Site Network, Inc. On May 12, 2008, the Company changed its name to Single Touch Systems Inc.

The Company offers its patented technologies via a modular, adaptable platform and a multi-channel messaging gateway to its customers, enabling them to reach consumers on all types of connected devices.

Basis of Presentation

Describes procedure if disclosures are provided in more than one note to the financial statements.
