HOTELS - $57.2 MILLION, OR 3.1% OF TOTAL LOANS (1) 27 The hotel industry has been significantly impacted by the COVID - 19 pandemic and the widespread travel restrictions . We continue to maintain close contact with our borrowers and monitor industry updates . We performed a review of the hotel portfolio and the impact that the COVID - 19 pandemic is having on the hotel industry . As a result of the COVID - 19 pandemic, as of December 31 , 2021 , $ 27 . 3 million, or 47 . 7 % of the hotel portfolio, was categorized as special mention due to the prolonged shutdown and $ 29 . 9 million, or 52 . 3 % of the hotel portfolio, was categorized as pass - rated .
