Explanatory Note

Lake Area Corn Processors, LLC (the “Company”) will be conducting a special meeting of its members on October 22, 2024 (the “2024 Special Meeting”). On August 28, 2024, the Company filed a Definitive Proxy Statement, together with all amendments thereto, appendices and proxy card (the "Proxy Statement").

The Company will be mailing a document on or about September 10, 2024, with a summary of the questions and answers that their members may have in regards to the Proxy Statement (the "Member Q&A"). The Member Q&A is replicated below. In addition to the Member Q&A, the Company also mailed Proxy Cards to each member, in the form attached as Appendix A to the Proxy Statement which had personalized member information on each Proxy Card.
