As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines in respect of implementation of recommendations of Dr. Ganguly Group, age of independent / non-executive directors of private sector banks in India should be between 35 to 70 years.

In view of the above, Mr. Gautam Divan an independent director of the Bank has relinquished his office as Director of the Bank at the close of business hours on 21st July 2010 having attained 70 years of his age.
