Item 8.01 Other Events.

On April 9, 2007, Health Discovery Corporation (the “Company”) distributed a Shareholder Letter to its shareholders and posted a copy on the Company’s website (www.healthdiscoverycorp.com). A copy of the Shareholder Letter is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference in its entirety in this Item 8.01 disclosure.

In addition, the Company announces that the record date for its special meeting of shareholders is April 16, 2007. Additional information regarding the special meeting will be distributed to the shareholders in the coming weeks.
